2007 Russian River Chardonnay
Thirty-year-old dry-farmed Chardonnay vines are the source for this luscious and stunning Russian River Chardonnay. Aromas of ripe Bartlett pear and crème brûlée, with a balanced acidity and intense flavors of tropical fruit are the hallmarks of this exceptional wine. The wine was barrel-fermented in 25% new Allier French Oak barrels and 25% 2nd year Allier barrels from the cooperage of Remond. The lees were stirred monthly (battonage) and the wine was bottled April 7th, 2008
